Refund & Cancellation
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Enixo Studio (operated by Digiqal Technologies Private Limited) provides bespoke, project-based game development services to business clients — not off-the-shelf goods or fixed-price digital products. Because of this, refund and cancellation terms are primarily set out in the signed Statement of Work ("SOW") or contract for each engagement. This page sets out our general policy framework, consistent with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable Indian contract law, which applies where a specific engagement contract does not state otherwise.
1. How our engagements are billed
Projects are typically billed against agreed milestones set out in the SOW — for example, an upfront deposit to begin work, followed by payments tied to delivery of specific milestones (pre-production, art pass, playable build, final delivery, etc.). Because each engagement is scoped individually, exact billing terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.
2. Cancelling before work begins
If you cancel after paying a deposit or advance but before any work has commenced, we will refund the amount paid, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, third-party licences, assets, or tools purchased specifically for your project), within a reasonable time and generally not more than 15 business days.
3. Cancelling during an active engagement
If a project is cancelled after work has started, milestones already delivered and accepted are non-refundable, as they represent work already performed. Amounts paid in advance for milestones not yet delivered will be refunded, less any costs already incurred toward that undelivered milestone and a reasonable allowance for work-in-progress at the time of cancellation, as reasonably determined and itemised by us.
4. Non-refundable items
- Milestones that have already been delivered and accepted
- Third-party costs already incurred on the client's behalf (licences, asset packs, plugin/store fees, contractor costs specific to the project)
- Any amount explicitly marked non-refundable in the signed SOW or contract
5. Quality or delivery issues
If you believe delivered work does not meet the specification agreed in the SOW, please raise it with your Enixo project lead as soon as possible. We will work with you to resolve it — typically through revision within the scope already agreed — before any refund discussion, consistent with standard practice for bespoke service engagements.
6. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email your Enixo project lead directly, or write to studio@enixo.in with your project name and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge cancellation/refund requests within 2 business days and resolve them within 15 business days of an agreed amount being confirmed.
7. Refund method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or bank account used for payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this general policy from time to time. It does not override the specific cancellation and refund terms in any SOW or contract you've already signed with us — those terms continue to govern that engagement.
