Using Claude for Long-Context Code Reviews in Unity Projects
A 200K-token context window sounds academic until you paste in an entire Unity module and get a review that actually understands the surrounding systems.
Why this matters now
We've had the best results feeding Claude whole subsystems — not diffs — before a release branch merges, catching cross-file assumptions a PR-scoped review misses.
What we're actually seeing
Studios that treat this as a one-time fix rather than an ongoing practice tend to see the gains fade within a quarter — the teams getting lasting results build it into their regular process.
Our recommendation
Reserve full-codebase reviews for release branches; day-to-day PRs are still faster with a scoped diff and a human.

This is exactly the kind of breakdown I needed — saved for the next sprint planning.

Curious how this holds up on lower-end mobile hardware?
